The University of Lagos (UNILAG) commenced the undergraduate degree programme in Biomedical Engineering in the 2017/2018 academic session. This programme can be found on page 415 of the complete .pdf file of the current JAMB Brochure online.
Subject requirements for this program in UNILAG as stated in the JAMB brochure is incorrect. Kindly note that the University Senate approved requirements for admission into the Department of Biomedical Engineering as follows:
- O’level: At least 6 (six) credit passes in ONE sitting including Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- UTME: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Direct Entry: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Please if you choose to study Biomedical Engineering at the University of Lagos, pay close attention to these requirements. Many applicants could not be admitted due to wrong subject combination last year.
