The University of Lagos (UNILAG) plans to reopen its campus hostels in batches, starting February 16, in preparation for the first-semester exams of the 2024/2025 academic session.
According to a reliable source, 300-level students will be the first to resume on February 16, with their exams scheduled shortly after. Meanwhile, 400-level students will return on March 10.
100 & 200l follow upon completion of a full academic session.
The source added that about five halls will be available for students, with ongoing renovations in other hostels. Bed mattresses and fumigation are being arranged for the available halls.
The university management will release procedures for accommodation applications shortly. Students are advised to pay for their Lag mobile to qualify for the application process.
A revised academic calendar with new dates for second-semester resumption will also be released.
